Terms, Conditions, Policies & Waivers

Behaviour and Safety Policy: 

Inspirely Education (“Inspirely” or “we” or “our” or “us”) takes pride in creating safe and enjoyable virtual learning experiences for all participating students and staff during its workshops, programs, activities, camps and events (the “Events”). In order to support this mission and make our events / workshops / classes enjoyable for everyone, we’ve developed the following online registration terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”).

The first part of the Terms and Conditions is the Behaviour & Safety Policy.

  • Coarse language, yelling, bullying, non-compliance, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour, and behaviour that significantly impacts the safety or enjoyment of the staff or other participants is not permitted at any of our events/workshops/classes.
  • If any violation of the above occurs, all parents/guardians will be responsible for discussing appropriate behaviours at our events/workshops/classes with their children.
  • Behaviours that pose a safety risk to any participant or staff may result in temporary and/or immediate and permanent removal from any and all events/workshops/classes.
  • No refund(s) will be provided in such instance. No work created by participants during Events should feature violent or otherwise inappropriate themes.

Our staff will make every effort to accommodate each participant’s needs and integrate them into our Events, as applicable. However, we fully reserve the right to remove and withdraw your child from any Events should their behaviour cause harm to themselves, other participants, staff or property.

Consent to Use of Photograph, Video & Voice Recordings:

By signing up for events / workshops / classes, you agree to grant Inspirely Education, its affiliates, representatives, and employees, the right to take photographs and videos of your child(ren) registered in any Inspirely Education events / workshops / classes, and hereby consent to the use of such photographs and/or videos in Inspirely Education marketing and promotional materials, including but not limited to in-print or electronic marketing materials.

Further, you acknowledge and agree that Inspirely Education (i) shall own all intellectual property rights, including any copyright, in such pictures and videos and (ii) may use such photographs and videos (with or without your child’s name) for any marketing and/or promotional activity, including without limitation, on our Website, newspaper advertisements and social media marketing, without any compensation being payable and without any additional required consent or authorization.

We also need this consent as many enrolled children share their learnings through video and they send it to us for featuring them with rewards. By using these videos, our primery aim is to showcase your child's work, set them as an example and inspire others to follow. If you have any queries, feel free to speak to us. For some reason, if you do not like to consent then please ask your child to keep camera off as it's technically difficult to excludes someone in online learning environment, particularly if she/he is attending group class. Please also send an email to contact@inspirely.ca stating that I do not consent to Use of Photograph, Video & Voice Recordings. We will try our best to exclude but please understand that sometimes it's beyond our control.

Consent for Screen Sharing During Class:

In order to help your child in our online learning environment, our instructor(s) might ask your child to share their computer/laptop screen. Screen sharing is solely for the purpose of assisting your child with educational class tasks.

We strongly recommend and advise parents/guardians not to keep sensitive, confidential information on any computer desktop and advise you to discuss this with your child. Inspirely will not be liable for any loss or damage in the event that confidential information is disclosed during any events/workshops/classes.

Here with you agree and acknowledge that you are providing your consent to allow for our educators / instructors / coaches to ask your child to share their screen when they need assistance during an events/workshops/classes, as applicable.

Liability waivers and releases:

At Inspirely Education, we strive to ensure the safety and security of each participant. However, please understand that there are circumstances that are beyond our control. Therefore, except for events arising solely out of the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Inspirely Education, the undersigned agrees that the aggregate liability of Inspirely Education and its affiliates, and their respective employees, interns, directors, officers, agents, representatives, shareholders, successors and assigns, subcontractors and sponsors, as well as all STEAM educators (the “Releasees”) from any and all suits, claims, damages cost and expenses of any kind, which include injury, property damage or death, in connection with any of the Events/ workshop / classes, shall be limited to the lesser of (i) $500 and (ii) the amount paid by you to Inspirely in the 6 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. Further, for participation in online events & classes, it is the full responsibility of the parent/guardian/registering adult on this form, to provide a safe and supervised working environment to the registered child(ren). Any liability arising out of lack of supervision from the responsible parent/guardian/adult shall not be the responsibility of Inspirely Education. The undersigned acknowledges and agrees that any and all disputes arising out of or in connection with the events or classes will be interpreted and construed in accordance with the Provincial laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. By agreeing, you (i) certify that the information you have given on your child(ren)’s registration form is complete and accurate; and (ii) agree to be bound by and bind your participating child(ren), if applicable, to the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

Consent to Participate in Rewards Program:

Inspirely encourages each child to, actively participate in class discussions, complete assignments and projects, collaborate with other children, express creative ideas, solve problems etc.

 As part of Inspirely’s after-school programs, each paid child with an active enrollment has an opportunity to participate in our Inspirely Bank rewards program (the “Rewards Program”). Each child will earn ‘stars’ at the end of the class, as applicable. These stars can be redeemed for various gifts. Hereby you are providing your consent to allow child to participate in the Rewards Program. If you do not want your child to participate in the Rewards Program, then simply send us an email at contact@inspirely.ca stating “I do not wish for my child(ren) to participate in the Inspirely Rewards Program.”

I agree and acknowledge that I have read and clearly understand all terms, conditions, policies, releases, consents and liability waivers in the Inspirely Terms and Conditions and that I am voluntarily waiving certain legal rights, including limited certain rights to bring claims against Inspirely and the Releasees for the matters contemplated herein.
