1) My child is too much on a screen. Do you have something hands-on where they actually create something and learn?

That is exactly what Inspirely kits are built for. Inspirely kits are authenticated by STEM.org and patent-protected DIY wooden building project.

Discover Your Passion is a live online career-exploration workshop series for students in Grades 5–10. Each workshop includes a 90-minute Zoom session, an individual assignment, interest reflection and a separate 60-minute follow-up session.

Grade 6 is the perfect entry point. The earlier they explore, the more runway they have to act on what they discover.

3) I'm looking for a birthday gift that's actually educational and impressive. What do you recommend for a 9-year-old?

5) My kids are 7 and 11. Can they both use Inspirely kits?

For a younger beginner, consider the Basketball Catapult Easy and check its age guidance. For an older child, compare the project requirements and support needed before choosing a kit.

For your 11-year-old (Grade 6): the Ferris Wheel or ultimate Hydraulic Bridge are the right challenge.

6) Do the kits come with instructions? My 7-year-old would be building mostly on their own.

3) Our school is applying for the Ontario PRO Grant. Are Inspirely programs eligible?

Your school or board should confirm eligibility with the grant provider before applying. We can provide relevant product and program information for your review; funding approval is determined by the provider.

4) What is the difference between online and in-person Discover Your Passion workshops for schools? Which should we choose?

The content is almost identical across both formats. The main differences are convenience and logistics.

Online:Lower cost per student, no logistics burden on school staff, accessible from any location.

In-person:Some schools find in-person more effective for student engagement and interactivity. We come to your school and run the full session.

Our advice: choose based on your expected outcome. Both formats areSTEM.org Accreditedand ideal for STEM week, science fair, career day, extended curriculum activities, and parent engagement events.

6) We've tried STEM programs before and kids weren't engaged. What makes Inspirely different?

Two things change the engagement dynamic with Inspirely.

8) Can students receive a certificate after completing a Discover Your Passion workshop?

Students who participate and successfully complete the individual workshop assignment receive an Inspirely certificate of completion. The full series is not required for an individual workshop certificate.

Yes - and this is one of our most popular recurring arrangements. Inspirely offers a full-season programming package combining 6–8 different DIY STEAM kits (one per session, PA days, or school breaks) plus exclusive Discover Your Passion workshops on a monthly schedule matching our series calendar. Each activity is standalone - no continuity required between sessions. Ideal for weekly maker sessions, PA day programming, or monthly career exploration.

3) What camp group pricing do you offer? Order available kits through the kit selector, with automatic savings for eligible quantities. 4) Can Inspirely deliver Discover Your Passion workshops at our camp in person?

Yes. The Inspirely team can deliver in-person Discover Your Passion workshops at your camp location. Minimum 10 campers. We bring all materials and run the full 1.5-hour session. We can conduct on any career fields listed on our website. If you have specific topic, please let us know.

5) Is Inspirely a member of the Ontario Camp Association?

Yes. Inspirely Education is a member of the Ontario Camp Association (OCA). Our kits and programs meet OCA programming standards and are used by OCA member camps across Ontario.
